Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the website of Nine Nine One Solutions (PTY) LTD t/a 991 Solutions (hereinafter referred to as "991 Solutions") at www.991solutions.com or www.991solutions.co.za (hereinafter referred to as the "website", "online shop", "the site" and "online store").

  • By using the online store, you agree and accept the Terms and Conditions, as set out below, without modification, reservations or changes.
  • All goods are sold strictly cash on delivery only. No products or goods will be released or dispatched unless full payment has been received and confirmed by the relevant banks. This is applicable to all payment methods including, but not limited to, credit card payments.
  • If a product is found to be faulty or defective, it must be returned to the Online Shop from which it was dispatched. 991 Solutions will not be held responsible for, nor reimburse, clients for any costs that may be incurred or result from returning the product. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of income and travel expenses.
  • All quotes provided by 991 Solutions will remain valid for a period of 7 days from the date of quote. The validity of any price, as stated on 991 Solutions’ website, is subject to increases due to differences in the cost price of the company before the release of goods.
  • If goods are returned after seven (7) days from the date of invoice, a credit will be passed provided that the goods are returned in the same condition as when they were purchased. This includes all manuals, driver discs, original packaging and original tax invoice. Under no circumstances will a cash refund be offered to a client. Additionally, no credit will be issued if the return is made after six (6) months from the date of the purchase.
  • In cases where driver disks are not returned with their original packaging, original tax invoice, software and manuals, whether within the seven (7) days or not, a 20% handling fee will be charged. No cash refunds will be offered.
  • Before a credit is passed, items will be tested or sent to original suppliers for a detailed report. No credit will be issued before the testing or detailed report of the items is complete and has been reviewed. 991 Solutions will not be held responsible for loss of any nature that may occur due to this delay.
  • A 20% handling fee will be charged for goods not returned with their original packaging, original tax invoice, software and manuals, whether within the six (6) months or not. No cash refunds.
  • Should the goods be found to be defective by the client within seven (7) days of purchase, they will be replaced immediately should they be found to be faulty after being tested by 991 Solutions’ qualified technicians. This excludes printers, monitors, modems, speakers, scanners, laptops, tablets and uninterrupted power supply units. Should there be any reason that 991 Solutions cannot assess the product or goods, it will be sent to the vendor or supplier for testing. Until 991 Solutions gets confirmation from the suppliers that the product is indeed faulty, a credit, swop out or repair cannot be authorised. 991 Solutions will not be held liable for any loss or damages that may occur due to this delay.
  • 991 Solutions will replace or repair items that exhibit a performance failure provided it occurs within the warranty period.
  • Items that can be repaired by 991 Solutions will not be swapped out or replaced. This does not include: printers, monitors, modems, speakers, scanners and uninterrupted power supply units.
  • A component’s warranty will be declared void if goods are damaged due to mishandling, negligence, lightning strikes or power surges.
  • Please back up your data before sending the machines for support. The workshop will not be held liable for any data loss.
  • A 10% deposit is required to confirm order. No products or goods will be held aside for a client if the appropriate deposit has not been received as stock is limited. These deposits are non-refundable and, should the order be cancelled, this deposit will be forfeited.
  • Should any goods, including but not limited to components and PCs, be ordered and not collected within 2 days, the order will be cancelled.
  • Back orders that have come into stock will be cancelled 2 days after completion.
  • Due to software piracy, under no circumstances will any software, whether unopened or not, be refunded or exchanged. The onus of responsibility remains with the client to confirm that the software is the correct software before it is purchased.
  • All prices and specifications listed on the site are as up to date as possible but errors and omissions are to be expected and prices as well as specifications are subject to change without any prior notice. In the case of a dispute arising about price or specifications of products or goods, 991 Solutions’ decision is seen as final.
  • Should repairs be commissioned from 991 Solutions, the client accepts that no laptop, PC, printer or other goods will be repaired, or worked on, onsite and will be sent to the relevant suppliers or other third parties for repairs. The client also acknowledges and accepts that the turnaround time for this may vary and that 991 Solutions will not be held liable for any delays or loss resulting from this.
  • Only laptops, PCs, printers and other goods that were purchased from 991 Solutions will be sent to suppliers or other third parties for repairs by 991 Solutions. This is done at 991 Solutions’ sole discretion and, should 991 Solutions decide not to undertake repairs, the decision is not open to debate.
  • Any and all warranties offered on any goods are only valid for 991 Solutions clients within the stipulated warranty period.
  • Unless stipulated otherwise, new hardware has a 12-month carry-in warranty from date of purchase. However, this warranty will be void if the serial number or label is missing or the items have been written on or tampered with.
  • 991 Solutions will not deliver repaired items and the onus of responsibility remains with the client to pick up their repaired goods within a reasonable period of time as determined by 991 Solutions. Should the client not pick up their goods within the allocated time frame, as indicated to them, the goods may be sold to defray costs or a handling fee may be charged.
  • 991 Solutions does not accept liability for loss or damage to cables, software or ink cartridges with booked-in goods.
  • 991 Solutions will do its upmost to protect goods that are in its possession but ultimately 991 Solutions will not be held liable for any loss of data or theft which may occur while the clients’ hardware is in their, or a suppliers’ or third parties’, possession.
  • Any CPU (processor) that is over clocked will void warranty. WARNING: It can and will be tested by 991 Solutions.
  • Supplier lead-time for warranty repairs is 21 working days up to six (6) weeks.
  • No warranty is offered on consumables including, but not limited to, blank CDs and cartridges.
  • No warranty is offered on any software and no refund, swop out or exchanged is offered on any software including Microsoft products. The onus of responsibility remains with the client to ensure that the software is correct before purchasing it.
  • In the event that a dispute should arise, 991 Solutions’ decision is considered final and binding. 991 Solutions will not pay out more than R100 (one hundred rand) for any loss whatsoever.
  • Specifications detailed on the site are subject to change without prior notice and, should errors occur, the specifications and prices that 991 Solutions have on their system will be considered the correct and final specifications and price.
  • Prices and special offers that appear on the online store are for the online store only and only apply if the products are bought in the online store. Price may vary in store from those that appear on the online store.
  • The pictures of the products that appear online are for display purposes only and may vary from the product supplied.
  • All prices include VAT.
  • A delivery fee of R55 will apply to all online orders for products ordered total less than R250 or otherwise specified. Prices for delivery may vary in outlying areas. Please see our delivery policy for more information.
  • The products and goods that are advertised in the online store are sold on a first come first serve basis and the prices and offers shown in the online store are subject to availability. Should a product sell out, 991 Solutions is under no obligation to order or attain more of the same stock at the same price for a client.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any special or availability of a product without prior notice.
  • A number of products or goods available in the online store may bear an age restriction. The onus of responsibility remains with the client to ensure that they, or the person they are buying the product or goods for, observe these restrictions. 991 Solutions will not be held liable for non-adherence of the age restriction and any damage or harm, whether psychological or physical, that may result from not adhering to the age restriction.
  • The site is hosted, controlled and operated from the Republic of South Africa and therefore governed by South African law and the client submits to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
  • Any person that attempts to damage, compromise or gain unauthorised access to the online store or any of its pages will be prosecuted for damages.
  • The client’s account, username and password should be used only by the client named in the account and its details should not be made available to any other person. 991 Solutions will not be held liable for any purchases or charges that may occur due to unauthorised use as a result of the client’s negligence in this regard.
  • Should 991 Solutions suspect fraudulent behaviour, an attempt at deception or illegal activities being connected to the client’s account, 991 Solutions reserves the right to close the account and invalidate any vouchers or purchases.
  • 991 Solutions may, without prior notice change these Terms and Conditions or any part thereof. The onus of responsibility remains with the client to ensure that they check the terms and conditions regularly.

  • The online store in its entirety, including but not limited to logos, trademarks, data, software, text, graphics, hyperlinks and design remain the sole property of 991 Solutions and duplication or imitation of any of these aspects will constitute an infringement.
  • The client acknowledges and agrees that all electronic communications from 991 Solutions whether agreements, notices or communications of whatever nature satisfy all legal requirements including but not limited to the requirement that it “in writing”.
